Step1

Offload and Manifest
The Officer Shall present when all international parcels arrive in order to identify which ones need Customs clearance
Record any discrepancies identified if not satisfied with the manifest match against the parcels received

Examine the Parcels

Clearance
The officer shall perform a detailed documentary validation of all particulars of the original postal declaration to determine the value, classification and origin of the goods. Use other methods of valuation where there are no declaration documents
Capture and assess a simplified declaration in ASYCUDA taking note to fill all the mandatory fields with correct relevant information.
Print and issue an Assessment Notice (payment advice) to the client through the Post Master

Client pays the fee issued under the Assesment Notice.

The officer Issue a receipt of payment to the passenger

Generate a release order to allow the client to take his/her parcel
